Six of Pennsylvania’s major cyber charter schools do not post their board packets online—meaning families, taxpayers, and stakeholders cannot easily access basic information about how these publicly funded schools operate. In many cases, the only way to obtain these records is by filing a formal Right-to-Know (RTK) request.
A few schools (21st Century Cyber Charter School, Agora Cyber Charter School, and Insight PA Cyber Charter School) do make their board materials publicly available. But for the majority, transparency still requires extra steps.
We’re working to change that. Through ongoing RTK requests, we are collecting and publishing cyber charter board packets here in one central location. This hub is designed to make it easier to access critical information, increase transparency, and provide a clearer picture of how public dollars are being used in cyber charter schools across Pennsylvania.
