My name is Chris Rhodes. I am a graduate student in nonprofit leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. My goal is to be able to make a difference working with organizations that have an active interest in creating a better quality of life for all people. Nonprofit groups play an important role in increasing civic involvement and promoting policies that strengthen our communities. I am working on the new website (coming soon!) and our online presence.  I am also learning about the public policy process. It is a lot to do and a lot to learn.

Today I am writing to make sure that you saw Susan Gobreski’s email asking for your support on Giving Tuesday.

Will you help us reach our goal of getting 100 new donors to support our work making good education funding and policy a top priority in Pennsylvania?

I chose to take an internship at Education Voters because I believe that every child in Pennsylvania should have equal access to opportunity and the resources necessary to learn within our state’s public education system. Thus, I contribute my talents to help ensure Pennsylvania‘s children get the education they deserve. Now that I have been here a while, I’ve learned a great deal about how the state government needs to hear the voice of its people to keep on the right track.

During my relatively short tenure here, I’ve experienced how EVPA is an organization sincerely devoted to finding solutions that suit the greater good ofthe students who attend our state’s public schools. We do so without compromising, which leads me to fully support the cause and ensorse this organization. I believe in this work and can confidently ask you to support it, too.

Will you help us by becoming 1 of 100 new supporters this month?

Any donation you are able to make, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for your support.
