On Wednesday, April 26th, Ed Voters will team up with our partners in the PA Schools Work campaign to host an advocacy day in Harrisburg.
Public education advocates from throughout the commonwealth will come together in Harrisburg for meetings with their lawmakers and a press conference. We will call on the legislature to support Governor Shapiro’s full education funding proposal PLUS $300 million in new Level Up funding for the 100 districts with the fewest resources to meet their students’ needs AND additional funding for school district facilities.

We will set up your meetings with your lawmakers and provide you with training, materials, talking points, and lunch!
We will be working hard to ensure that the final 2023-2024 state budget will include a Level Up supplement for PA’s districts that have the fewest resources to meet their students’ needs. You can learn more about Level UP HERE and read about advocates’ efforts in the article below.
If you are not able to come to Harrisburg for advocacy day, do not despair. We will have a robust set of activities for you to choose from to participate in advocacy day from the comfort of your home or office!
